The Whitstable Society organises monthly members meetings, at which a general interest discussion normally follows an invited speaker presenting an item of local interest.
Meetings will be held at Whitstable Castle at 7-15pm

Ian Cameron-Fleming CCC: who looks after projects on council land and is ultimately responsible for improvements on Tankerton Slopes Coastal Park. He is also a judge for SE in Bloom and can tell us about S E in Bloom in general and in particular with regard to Whitstable.
Steve Keeler – Friends of Whitstable Museum: who is to talk to us about the hard work of the Friends over the decades and discuss with us the future of the museum

Jon Shelton – Countryside Manager of the Kentish Stour Countryside Partnership, their in- house tree expert, to talk to us about tree planting and management and what can be done in Whitstable and what resources there are available
Kath Gill - Ramblers Local Footpath Officer, who is to talk about Public Rights of Way in and around Whitstable.
